Air Cargo Net
The plan view of the air cargo net is cross-shaped. At the points where the net connects to the pallet, there are a varying number of Double Stud Fittings. The Fitting features a self-locking mechanism; once secured in the pallet slot, it self-locks to prevent slipping out. The net is also equipped with Hooks, which are used to tighten the net so that it firmly secures the cargo inside.
Cargo Restraint Strap Assemblies
Cargo Restraint Strap Assemblies are adjustable-length restraint devices used to secure cargo loaded in an aircraft cargo compartment. The strap length is adjusted by an over-center buckle (OCB). The end fitting is a double stud fitting, which can be used together with an air cargo net and installed on an air cargo pallet.
Pallet
Pallet is a rectangular panel with a flat centre plate and edge profiles riveted around its perimeter. These profiles feature slots designed to connect with the double stud fittings on the air cargo net. At the four corners, corner fittings join the channel-shaped profiles together. The space formed by the pallet and the air cargo net accommodates the cargo to be carried.
